Entertainment at your fingertips

Back in the 90’s, video games via consoles were all the craze. Playstation and the Nintendo 64 was one of the biggest video game sources  at that time. Back then if you ain’t loaded enough to own a console, you can rent some for a specific amount of time, thorough Playstation shops, which was sometimes harder to find than we expected. However, these days gaming or any way of entertaining yourself can simply be done with one device. No need for the usual travelling around, looking for PlayStation shops and all that, all you have to do is pick up your smartphone and dive in.

Digital meetings and  chats are all the craze

With today’s various social media sites, it is easy to interact with your friends and family. However, this makes interacting with them rather bleak, since some people would rather meet-up and talk in Facebook rather than actually meeting them. A few people may say that this is a good thing since you might not need to worry about transport costs and other financial sacrifices though we feel in reality that this is actually depleting your relationship with your loved ones.  Getting in touch with them personally is what makes interactions special and if you’re only interacting via social media all the time, it might affect your overall relationship state.

Food delivery

Similar to a phone, you can easily order up food for delivery with ease and since smartphones also have access to the internet, you can have a choice of ordering via mobile phone call or the internet, which gives you a lesser reason to go out and get the food yourself. In hindsight, this might actually be something that sounds good, but it simply gives everyone the reason to be lazy.

Shopping online

Online shopping has slowly become a usual thing to those who can easily access the internet. From various groceries and other commodities to clothing and even gadgets, online shopping is becoming more popular thanks to the efficiency and utility it delivers. Online shopping is especially popular to busy-body millennials or those who are working all day long and barely has time to shop. We can’t fully say that this makes us lazy since people often resort to online shopping because they’ve got a hectic schedule on their hands, nevertheless, it’s still a shortcut.
