Today, we’ll be talking about realme’s newest addition to its C series, the realme C67. Many brands are releasing smartphones that are capable of handling day-to-day tasks, like gaming, watching your favorite movies, social media browsing, decent cameras, and an eye-catching design all in one device and for a reasonable cost. Will this device tick all those lists? Let’s find out!
Aesthetically, the realme C67 is truly captivating. Its back is made out of plastic but they elevated it as they used a 420nm Three-Color Gradient Coating Process with 60,000 individual stripes that can be seen when the light hits the back of the device.
Not only that. The pill-shaped camera module became more prominent as it is placed on top of a glass-like finish rear which separates it from the stripes design. They also uplifted the pill-shaped camera module look by adding a golden halo ring-like design around the lenses, which they call the “Dual Golden Lens Mount”.
Since its back is made of plastic, fingerprint smudges are not that visible however, the camera module part is surely a fingerprint magnet.
This device is available in 2 color variants, such as Sunny Oasis and Black Rock. I personally adore the Black Rock colorway as it looks sleek and elegant.
In addition to that, this is pretty easy to hold onto thanks to its 7.59mm Ultra Slim Design, plus it only weighs 185 grams. This is probably the thinnest smartphone in its category, so kudos to realme. I am certain that even people with small hands won’t have a hard time gripping it.
Looking at its sides, the frame is made out of aluminum. On the right, you’ll see volume rockers and a power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor.
On the left, is the dual SIM tray with a dedicated micro SD card that supports up to 2TB of expandable storage. At the bottom are a speaker grille, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, and a USB C port. And on top is another stereo speaker.
Hopping to its display, the realme C67 comes with a 6.72” FHD+LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The device can reach up to 950 nits, which is why using it outdoors won’t be a problem at all.
Up top, you’ll see the under-screen selfie camera which also transforms into a Dynamic Island which they call the “Mini Capsule”. This mini capsule was introduced by realme on the C55 device last year. And now, realme introduces the Mini Capsule 2.0, an upgraded version through the realme C67.
For those who are not aware, the Mini Capsule is a spiced-up pop-up window and dropdown notifications. This creative idea surely turned the annoying interruptions into a fun way.
Before, it can only indicate battery status, scheduled events, data usage, and daily step count. But now, realme has added new scenario features such as “Event Reminders”, “Weather Forecast” and “Music Interactions”, so expect to see some fancy animations.
Now, let’s talk about its cameras. The realme C67 has a dual rear camera system that consists of a 108MP 3x In-Sensor Zoom main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The main camera gives a decent performance when used in good lighting conditions. However, using the device in low-light conditions results in overly deep black photos which is not really to my liking.
In terms of selfies, the 8MP shooter outputs a true-to-life skin tone only if you are in a well-lit environment, otherwise it will give you a washed-out image. Although, you can always edit it afterward and adjust the colors to your preference.
With the retouch mode on, you can now touch up and enhance your look digitally without the hassle of putting your makeup on. You may adjust which part of your face you’d like to enhance or you can always go for the default option when you’re in a hurry.
Meanwhile, the device can record up to 1080p at 30fps.
Powering the realme C67 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage which runs on Android 14 realme UI U Edition.
Antutu Benchmark V10 – 309,540
Geekbench 6 CPU – 474 (Single-core) ; 1,518 (Multi-core)
Geekbench 6 GPU Open CL – 380
3D Mark (Wild Life) – 649
Video Loop Test – 15 hours and 23 minutes
There may be better chipsets available, but it is capable enough to play games like Mobile Legends and Call of Duty: Mobile in a high graphic quality and medium frame rate settings.
However, for an immersive gaming experience, I highly recommend using the additional 8GB of RAM via RAM expansion as this will help the 90Hz display and 180Hz touch sampling rate offer a more smooth and seamless gameplay without any lags, also it will be a great help when navigating the UI.
It does come with 3rd party apps, but you don’t have to worry for you can always uninstall or disable some of it. Plus, this device comes with 2TB expandable storage via an external microSD card, so downloading multiple apps that you love won’t be a problem at all.
This device comes with a standard 5000mAh battery partnered with a 33W SuperVOOC charger.
In our standard video loop test where its brightness and volume are at 50%, the realme C67 lasted for 15 hours and 23 minutes before the battery total ran out.
When it comes to charging, it took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes to juice it up from 0% – 100% which is fair enough.
Conclusion
Having said that, the realme C67 8GB+128GB variant is priced at PHP 9,999 while the 8GB+256GB costs PHP 10,999.
Its aesthetic design that comes with sufficiently good performance and a reasonable price is surely something to watch out for and persuade you to add it to your list when you’re on the lookout for a new phone.

I’m currently in the market for a new budget-friendly smartphone and this one seems to check all the right boxes. love the idea of a powerful processor, high-quality camera, and long battery life.
