The rise of budget smartphones is becoming evident daily, and to be competitive enough in the market, smartphone brands are doing their best for their target consumers to notice their devices. Today, we’ll be talking about realme’s newest device which is the realme C67. It’s been a week since we’ve had our hands on this and we’ll gladly share with you our top 5 favorite features, and why you should consider getting one.

Sleek Design
If you’re like me who considers the aesthetics when it comes to availing a phone, then this device will surely get your attention. Its back is made out of plastic, but they elevated it as they used a 420nm Three Color Gradient Coating Process with 60,000 individual stripes that can be seen when light hits the back of the device.
Not only that. The pill-shaped camera module became more prominent as it is placed on top of a glass-like finish rear which separates it from the stripes design. They also uplifted the pill-shaped camera module look by adding a golden halo ring-like design around the lenses, which they call the “Dual Golden Lens Mount”.
The realme C67 is available in 2 color variants, such as Sunny Oasis and Black Rock, but I personally adore the Black Rock colorway as it looks sleek and elegant.
Plus, it is pretty easy to hold onto thanks to its 7.59mm Ultra Slim Design. This is probably the thinnest smartphone in its category, so kudos to realme. I am certain that even people with small hands won’t have a hard time gripping it.
Capable Cameras
For its price, the camera module look is not just a beaut, but it does perform well too as it is equipped with a 108MP 3x In-Sensor Zoom camera. Meaning, the image quality won’t be compromised even when it’s zoomed for 3x.
It also has a Samsung HM6 sensor which will help take rich images, it is also paired with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) that digitally avoids blurs when taking photos and videos.
Fine Gaming Experience
Aside from the above-mentioned features, one notable aspect of the realme C67 is that it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage which runs on Android 14 realme UI U Edition.
There may be better chipsets available, but it is capable enough to play games like Mobile Legends and Call of Duty: Mobile in a high graphic quality and medium frame rate settings.
For a better gaming experience, I highly recommend using the additional 8GB of RAM via RAM expansion as this will help the 90Hz display and 180Hz touch sampling rate offer a more smooth and seamless gameplay without any lags, also it will be a great help when navigating the UI.
Also, you won’t have to worry about running out of storage to download multiple applications that you love, as its storage is expandable up to 2TB via an external microSD card.
Immersive Speakers
Of course, a great way to enjoy your gaming experience or even by simply watching your favorite movies is to have good speakers. The realme C67 comes with built-in dual stereo speakers for a more immersive audio experience. This is actually a prominent feature because most phones only offer a single-firing speaker for this price point.
Improved Mini Capsule
Most of us are aware that realme introduced the Mini Capsule version 1 through a Dynamic Island Notch on realme C55 last year, which opened a great idea in spicing up the traditional pop-up windows and drop-down notifications.
While the Mini Capsule 1.0 already did its job in turning annoying interruptions into a fun way; realme even improved its functionalities. Now, it does not only indicate battery status, data usage, and daily step count, but it now has 3 additional scenarios such as “Event Reminders”, “Weather Notifications” and “Music Playback Control.”
Forgetting a scheduled event won’t be a problem at all as the Event Reminder feature notifies you whenever you have a scheduled event for that day.
The Weather Notifications feature is a great piece of information first thing in the morning, especially if you have somewhere else to go, as it will help you determine if you need to carry an umbrella or add a ton of sunscreen instead.
As for the Music Playback Control, it is a fun way to navigate your playlist. When you wanna check the current song, all you have to do is tap it. Swipe right to play the next song, and swipe left to play the previous song.
