GeForce Experience is NVIDIA’s tool that helps desktop users update their drivers, boost their games, and even help you stream those said games. Although there are some issues that occur on this app like the audio of a game is not being recorded. Here are some ways to fix it.

CLOSE AND RESTART GEFORCE EXPERIENCE
Restarting an application usually helps when fixing certain issues. The first thing you can do is restart your NVIDIA GeForce Experience and see if it fixes this kind of glitch. Here is how you can do it.
Click on your system tray and right-click on the NVIDIA icon then select exit to close all NVIDIA applications.
TRY A DIFFERENT GAME TO RECORD
Some said that the GeForce Experience doesn’t record in-game audio on specific games. So just to make sure, try recording different games to see if the issue is still there. You can also try streaming the media player and see if the audio problem still persists.
INCREASE AUDIO VOLUME
The low system volume settings are another factor contributing to the audio problem in the GeForce Experience app. Try increasing the system volume to its maximum and check whether the issue still exists.
CHECK INPUT DEVICE ON THE OVERLAY SETTINGS
The microphone won’t be able to be recorded if a different audio capture device has been chosen in the NVIDIA overlay settings. Go to your GeForce Experience settings and change the microphone input to the right input device that you are using. Here is how you can do it;
Step 1: Press Alt+Z to open the GeForce Experience overlay.
Step 2: Click on the mic icon and select settings.
Step 3: Find the section titled “Microphone.” Select the appropriate audio input device on the drop-down menu then click the save button.
ADJUST AUDIO ON CAPTURE SETTINGS
Both system noises and microphone tracks can be recorded using GeForce Experience. Two tracks will be included in the recording if you choose the separate option. But when you play it, you’ll only hear one audio track. When you open the video in a video editing program, the audio will be present in its entirety.
DISABLE AND RE-ENABLE INSTANT REPLAY
Even after changing the audio input and track settings, some users still have the “NVIDIA ShadowPlay not recording audio” problem. Disabling and re-enabling the Instant Replay when recording is an easy fix for the problem.
REINSTALL GEFORCE EXPERIENCE
You will see issues like GeForce’s missing audio if the core program files are damaged. Therefore, you must reinstall the app on your PC so that it can replace the corrupted or missing files with a brand-new installation.
