vivo is gearing up to launch its first-ever foldable smartphone, dubbed the vivo X Fold. It will go official in China on April 11.
ahead of its launch, leaks and advertising material has surfaced online revealing most of its specs.
According to the marketing stand, the vivo X Fold will sport an 8-inch internal folding screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 3.0 technology, and a 6.53-inch FHD+ outer display with also a 120hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it will arrive with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, and Android 12. It will also pack a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Camera-wise, the foldable smartphone will feature Zeiss branding and T* coating consisting of a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, 12MP portrait, and a 60x OIS periscope lens.
The advertising material also revealed that the X Fold’s screen is certified to work for 300,000 folds by TUV Rheinland.
