Tecno Spark Go 2024 vs Xiaomi Redmi 13C Specs Comparison

Last year both Tecno and Redmi released a bunch of affordable smartphones such as the Redmi 13C and the Spark Go 2024. They are both entry-level devices that offer a bang for the buck specs. Redmi 13C was launched in December while Tecno Spark Go 2024 was launched the month before. If you want to know more about their differences, continue reading this article.

In terms of its build and dimensions, both are thin devices with a plastic back and frame. Both devices are lightweight with Redmi 13C weighing 192g while Tecno Spark Go 2024’s weight is not listed. Both device offers 4 different color variants. Redmi 13C offers Midnight Black, Navy Blue, Glacier White, and Clover Green. As for Tecno Spark Go 2024 offers Mystery White, Alpenglow Gold, Magic Skin, and Gravity Black.

For their display, Redmi 13C boasts a 6.74″ IPS LCD HD+ display while Tecno Spark Go 2024 boasts a 6.6″ IPS LCD HD+ display. Tecno Spark Go 2024 carries a punch hole cut out while Redmi 13C sports the traditional dewdrop notch. Both of their display is paired with a 90Hz refresh rate which is a solid buy in the entry-level market. As for display protection, Tecno Spark Go 2024 doesn’t offer one while Redmi 13C is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass which is a good addition to this device.

Camera

When it comes to budget smartphones we usually look for the best chipset or the best cameras. In this department, Redmi 13C offers the highest megapixel. Although high megapixel doesn’t mean that it offers the best camera. There is more to it like its white balance, HDR processing, or even exposure control. Redmi 13C offers a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP main shooter, 2MP macro, and a 0.08 auxiliary lens while on the other hand, Tecno Spark Go 2024 carries a dual camera setup that has a 13MP main and a 0.08 auxiliary lens.

Software and Hardware

Moving forward to its chipset, Tecno Spark Go 2024 is powered by a Unisoc T606 while Redmi 13C is powered by a Helio G85. In terms of raw power, the G85 is a much superior chip compared to T606. It has higher battery efficiency and both CPU and GPU performance. Both devices are running on Android 13 but Tecno Spark Go 2024 runs on the Go edition.

For their configuration, Tecno Spark Go 2024 offers only one storage variant. A 4GB+4GB RAM and 128GB storage with support for microSD up to 1TB. While Redmi 13C has three different configurations. A 4GB + 128GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.

For their battery, both devices are backed by a 5000mAh battery capacity with Redmi 13C having an 18W charging while Tecno Spark Go 2024 is paired with a 10W charging.

Price and Availability

As for their pricing, both devices are priced at Php 4,999 pesos for the 4GB+128GB configuration. Redmi 13C’s other variants are priced at Php 5,499 pesos for the 6GB+128GB config and Php 6,999 for the 8GB+256GB config.

Both two devices are a solid buy in the entry-level market but the Redmi 13C offers more when it comes to storage options, chipset power, and even cameras.
