Design & Build

The Galaxy A35 5G stands out from its predecessor, the Galaxy A34 5G, by featuring a glass back instead of a plastic panel, giving the device a more premium look and feel. However, the glossy finish can attract fingerprint smudges, so a case is recommended.

The comfort of holding the Galaxy A35 5G is outstanding. Its design allows for easy one-handed use, and the slightly softer edges provide a better grip. Although the phone is a bit heavier at 209g compared to the Galaxy A34 5G’s 199g, the plastic frame does not detract from its overall quality. A new bump on the right side of the phone houses the volume rockers and power buttons, making them easy to locate by touch.

Display

Moving on to the display! The Galaxy A35 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with excellent quality, offering sharp and vibrant colors. The thick bezels around the screen are evenly balanced, so they don’t seem out of place.

The phone’s 120Hz refresh rate ensures fast and smooth navigation, and its peak brightness of 1000 nits makes it easy to use the device outdoors. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, a major upgrade from previous models’ Gorilla Glass 5. As usual, Samsung delivers a stunning display with the Galaxy A35 5G.

Camera

In terms of photography, the Galaxy A35 5G has a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 5MP macro lens.

The quality of the 50MP main camera is very good, producing clear images with no excessive sharpening. The photos have vivid colors and the AI processing is efficient. The camera avoids oversaturation, making the photos look more natural.

For low-light photography, the camera captures lots of detail with good noise reduction and sharpness. The images remain clear, with no blurriness or color distortion.

When taking selfies, the camera provides good detail and sharpness. The colors are rich and true to life, accurately representing skin tones.

For video recording, the Galaxy A35 can record in UHD at 30 frames per second with Super Steady off, and in 1080p at 30 frames per second with Super Steady on.
