After unveiling it earlier this year, Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Redmi A3 in the Philippines. It was announced during the Xiaomi Fan Festival.
The Redmi A3 is a budget smartphone sporting a back design similar to the aesthetic of the high-end Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The circular camera module features an 8MP main camera and an Auxiliary lens.
At the front, it flaunts a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500nits brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The teardrop notch is equipped with a 5MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s 2.2 GHz 12nm Helio G36 octa-core processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, up to 4GB RAM (+4GB Extended Memory), and up to 128GB storage.
The battery is rated at 5,000mAh with 10W charging via USB Type-C.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Redmi A3 is now available to pre-order starting April 21 to 27 through the official Xiaomi Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok shops. It comes with free Xiaomi Basic Piston wired earphones.
