Also, Nokia announced that the Android OS will be the main system they will be using in their devices and not the Windows 10 platform.

More about HMD global, it is established Finnish company for the sole purpose of handling the Nokia brands. It is composed of the former Nokia exec and former Microsoft Mobile head, Arto Nummela.

Alongside with HMD, Foxconn (manufacturer of Apple iPhone) is specifically the one that bought the rights for Nokia feature phone brand from Microsoft. They both will work for a hand in hand with Nokia heads to deliver the quality, design, and value we have been accustomed from the original Nokia mobile brand.

The collaboration makes Nokia focused on their current venture, which is on smart and health-related devices including the Nokia OZO, Nokia Nexus, and Withings gears and accessories.

We may finally start seeing high-end Nokia smartphones starting in the 2nd half of the year. What do you think of this news? Does this make you excited again?
