At the break of dawn on the 13th of March 2017, McDonald’s offered free breakfast to 1000 participants per store nationwide in their latest campaign of National Breakfast Day.
As a teaser to the anticipated event, McDonald’s wanted to show off their ambassador embodied by a Mrs. Santiago.
Not a lot was said with the video until the release of the official campaign on the day itself.
Mrs. Santiago, a public school teacher about to reach the mandatory age of retirement, was celebrated as the second parent we all experienced before the turn of college.
The video showcased the number of lives our teachers touch on a daily basis making them the highlight of this year’s early risers.
The year prior, McDonald’s PH celebrated the dedication of fishers whom wake up hours earlier more than the regular humans do to feed cities as well as their own families.
Further back in 2015 the early risers behind Manila were given recognition for making sure service runs smoothly for everyone to get to their 9 to 5s.
