Console fans, especially Xbox, we may have to wait until June of this year for supplies of Xbox Series X to be a-okay. This is according to Microsoft’s head of investor relations Mike Spence as he shares to The New York Times.
With recent reports surfacing stating that the shortage issues will likely continue until April and the situation would not be pretty good for the first half of 2021. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has even made it difficult due to scalpers being a major problem with retailers.
According to Lisa Su, CEO of AMD and industry analyst, she stated that this might be the norm throughout the year. It seems that there are only two options for everyone, either we wait for prices to go down for a next-gen upgrade or taking a huge risk by buying the needed hardware.
