Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 vs Motorola Razr 2022 vs Huawei P50 Pocket—Specs Comparison

Motorola released a new creative folding phone from the Razr family this summer. The Motorola Razr 2022 is a flagship phone, as opposed to the first smartphone in this series. The phone had its global premiere a few days ago, and it was also released in Europe. This time, the Lenovo-owned company introduced a smartphone that can compete with the greatest clamshell foldable phones from all other manufacturers. Prior to this gadget, two more clamshell phones reached the market: the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Huawei P50 Pocket. The specs of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, the Motorola Razr 2022, and the Huawei P50 Pocket are compared here.

Design

The Motorola Razr 2022 has the most appealing look in my opinion since it reminds me of the classic and legendary Razr feature phones. It also features a high build quality, with a glass back covered by Gorilla Glass 5, an aluminum 7000 series frame, and a stainless steel hinge. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 has excellent build quality, with a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, an aluminum frame, and IPX8 certification, making it waterproof. The Huawei P50 Pocket is unique due to its circular exterior display, however, it is larger and less striking in terms of build quality.

Display

The screens on the Motorola Razr 2022 are the most intriguing. The inside foldable display is an AMOLED screen with a 6.7-inch diagonal, Full HD+ resolution, a 144-Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification. With a 2.7-inch diagonal, the exterior display is the largest. However, its competitors are not that far away. The internal display on the Huawei P50 Pocket is larger: a 6.9-inch OLED panel with 1 billion colors and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as well as a Full HD+ resolution. Because of its form factor, the external display is a 1.04-inch OLED panel that behaves like an integrated smartwatch. In terms of size, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED internal display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 1.9-inch rectangular exterior display in the middle.

Camera

The Huawei P50 Pocket boasts the most modern cameras, with a 40MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide shooter, and a 32MP portrait camera. The Motorola Razr 2022 comes next, with a 50MP primary camera and a 13 MP ultrawide lens. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 includes two 12MP sensors, one of which is ultrawide.

Specs & Performance

The Motorola Razr 2022 has the most stunning hardware. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform (currently Qualcomm’s top processor), with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 features the same CPU, but just 8 GB of RAM to go with it. The Huawei P50 Pocket is powered by an inferior Snapdragon 888 mobile platform and does not offer a 5G connection owing to a US restriction. Furthermore, it lacks Google Mobile Services in the global market, which has been replaced by Huawei Mobile Services.

Battery

The Huawei P50 Pocket has a longer battery life simply because it is larger and allows for a larger battery. It also supports a faster-charging technology with a power of 40W.

Price

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is available for about Php58,990 in our country, the Huawei P50 Pocket can be found for Php69,999, and the Motorola Razr 2022 costs $1200 or around Php68,699. Which one would you pick?
