In commemoration of its 90th Anniversary, the photography firm FUJIFILM has released the FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini 99 instant camera in the Philippines.

The INSTAX Mini 99 features a new Color Effect Control feature that gives users six analog colors when they twist the Color Effect Dial. It is possible with the color-changing LEDs located inside the camera. The six analog colors available are Faded Green, Warm Tone, Light Blue, Soft Magenta, Sepia, and Light Leak.
The instant camera also comes with Brightness Control, Manual Vignette Switch, Bulb Mode that can open up to 10 seconds, programmed electronic shutter from 1.8 to 1/400 seconds, Double Exposure Mode, and Exposure Control of LV 5.0 to 14.8 (ISO 800) with exposure compensation of -5/3EV, -2/3EV, +2/3EV, and +1EV.
Other modes include Indoor Mode (lightens interior shots), Landscape Mode (for subjects that are 3 meters away), Macro Mode (for subjects 30-60cm away), and Sports Mode (reduces blur from fast-moving subjects).
Moreover, the INSTAX Mini 99 features a 62 x 46mm INSTAX film that takes around 90 seconds to develop. It varies depending on the ambient temperature.
Its lens is retractable and composed of two components and 2 elements with a 1:12.7 60mm focal length. There’s also a 0.37× viewfinder with target spot and parallax correction function for macro mode.
In terms of shooting range, it has a manual three-point switching type of 0.3m to 0.6m/0.6m to 3.0m/3.0m to ∞, and 0.3m to ∞ shooting range.
There’s also an automatic flash that supports Indoor mode (slow synchro flash), Fill-in flash, Flash off, and Red-eye removal. Charging time is within 6.5 seconds when using a fully-charged battery and the effective flash range is 0.3 m to 2.7 m.
It also comes with an LCD panel that displays shooting modes, flash control mode, self-timer mode, battery level, color effect, and the remaining shots left.
Powering the INSTAX Mini 99 is one NP-70S battery with a capacity of approximately 10 INSTAX mini film packs. Auto power off time is after 5 minutes.
Additionally, the camera has a tripod mount. It has dimensions of 103.5 mm × 117.5 mm × 60.0 mm and weighs 340g (without battery, shoulder strap, and film).
