The mask also includes Razer’s signature design elements such as the Chroma RGB LEDs which can be personalized based on anyone’s taste. It has about 16.8 million colors and a cornucopia of lighting effects to match any gamer’s electronic personality.
The mask also includes a rechargeable and replaceable disc-type ventilator which at the same time houses the lighting. This can be sanitized from bacteria and viruses especially in a time like this. Razer plans to ship the smart mask by including a wireless, fast-charging case that also acts as a mini disinfecting station.
When it comes to the lighting, this is not just a show. The mask also works as an indicator and notifies the user of the mask’s charge levels. The mask will also include internal lighting which helps your mouth be more visible in areas with limited lighting. Razer claims that the mask will feature a high bacterial efficiency (BFE) filter that constricts up to 95% of airborne particles. The mask also has high-fluid resistance.
Accompanied by these other awesome features, Razer also included a new technology called VoiceAmp. This will help to lessen muffled voices due to the fact that masks have this tendency. This will include a built-in microphone and amplifier which will help the user’s voice to be clearer and more understandable. This will help lessen repeating yourself to the barista in the café.
Now, you may be already looking at your bank account and preparing yourself to pre-ordering this truly awesome mask but hold your horses! As of now, Project Hazel is still just a concept from Razer for now. So, there is still no price nor any release dates that were revealed. This has also not been approved yet by any health-protection agencies namely the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
According to The Verge, Razer has already been working and still is, with a team of scientists to ensure that this dream mask will come to fruition. This will ensure that the mask will meet the company’s vision and be a top-of-the-line, medical-grade mask.
