Using a Desktop and Laptop (Windows)

Next, open the Search Bar by clicking the magnifying glass symbol at the bottom of the screen. Alternately, concurrently hit the Windows Key and the “S” key.
The Connect to a Wireless Display page will be opened by entering its name in the Search Bar. Then select the first choice, and the Multiple Displays section’s Connect button should be selected.
Focus on the desktop computer of your choice. Open the Display option on the Settings page. Afterward, select the Connect option next to the page that says “Connect to a wireless display.”
You can toggle these features by accessing the System and Projecting tab on this PC. Additionally, the Windows Settings pane gives you access to standard settings for numerous monitors.
Using a Desktop and Laptop (MacOS)
Locate the Control Center by going to the menu bar’s far right. Then select AirPlay Display, which appears as two toggle switches that are overlapping.
Choose Screen Mirroring as your option. If neighboring compatible Macs connect to the same network and run the most recent software, you will be able to view them.
On your Apple desktop computer, open your MacBook and choose it. As an alternative, you can launch the desktop Mac, choose Displays, and then click Add Display.
To connect, pick your MacBook from the available options. Additionally, you could change the settings by selecting the Displays menu item.
