Globe’s #SeniorDigizen Program to Empower Filipino Seniors

Exploring the digital world can seem overwhelming for our beloved seniors, but Globe Telecom has taken a fantastic initiative to bridge the generation gap!

Last January 25, 2024, Globe kicked off the “Teach Me How To Digi#SeniorDigizen Learning Session at the Skydome, SM North EDSA in Quezon City. Imagine a vibrant gathering of 200 seniors, all set for a half-day tech adventure.

What’s even cooler is that big tech and retail brands teamed up to support this exciting event. Google took the stage, guiding seniors on “How to create a Gmail account,” while Globe led a Smartphone 101 crash course.

And that’s not all – there were sessions on navigating the fintech wonders of GCash and exploring telehealth with KonsultaMD.

Representative Milagros Aquino-Magsaysay of the United Senior Citizens party-list and the Quezon City government added their magic touch by bringing senior citizen delegates and providing essential support.

Kudos to Globe Telecom and all the amazing partners for making this happen!
