Redmi released the Redmi G 2022 gaming laptop in China back in July, equipped with 12th Gen Intel H-series CPUs. The Redmi G Pro Ryzen Edition will now be released, according to the firm. For those who don’t know, this is the first Pro-series gaming laptop from the firm. Consequently, the name is without a year.
It has been announced that the gaming laptop Redmi G Pro Ryzen Edition will debut in China on September 7. Its AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU have also been made public.
The company has not yet released any information about its future gaming laptop beyond these two specifications. It hasn’t even hinted at the design as of yet.
According to rumors, the Redmi G Pro will resemble the Redmi G 2022 virtually exactly, with the exception of the CPU and GPU.
According to the speculations, the next laptop will include a 16-inch 2.5K 165Hz display, a full-size backlit keyboard, two 2W speakers, an HD (720p) camera, Thunderbolt 4, MiniDP 1.4, HDMI 2.1, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and more.
On the other hand, this one will probably continue to be a China-only model, exactly like the previous Redmi G gaming laptop versions. It makes no sense to import official services either, as it is not offered in foreign markets.
