Later this week, Apple plans to introduce its newest iPhone 14 series. However, it appears that the firm will also finally unveil its second generation of AirPods Pro earphones at the same time as the new smartphone portfolio.
The information is obtained from Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter. For those who don’t know, on September 7 the Cupertino-based firm will introduce four new iPhone models. The brand is anticipated to unveil the Apple Watch Series 8, the new iPad Pro 2022, and the 10th version of the iPad on this significant occasion. However, it looks that the business also intends to introduce the AirPods Pro 2.
As far as we can tell from what we currently know, the AirPods Pro 2 will include Active Noise Cancellation much like its predecessor and is also believed to have a Transparency Mode. Furthermore, it’s rumored that the highly anticipated second generation of AirPods Pro will also feature a major bump in battery life. When used with the charging case, the original AirPods pro provided more than 24 hours of music playing and 18 hours of conversation time.
There have also been suggestions that the famous stem design of the AirPods Pro 2 would be eliminated. Apple generally stores the processors and the Active Noise Cancellation technology in the stem itself, but it seems like that might not be the case in this instance. However, a smaller charging case could be available that has the ability to produce sound when the owner uses the Find My application in the event that it is misplaced.
