oppo reno 8t 5g vs realme 10 pro which offers the best value for your money

The OPPO Reno 8T, the company’s newest smartphone, was just launched. However, realme has recently launched the realme 10 Pro+ 5G, the latest addition to their number line. Now we will compare the realme 10 Pro+ to the cutting-edge OPPO Reno 8T 5G. Both have a curved-edge AMOLED screen with a 120Hz frame rate. Both advanced feature UIs built on Android 13 and have main cameras that can photograph at 108 megapixels. We’ll go into greater detail about what sets each phone apart beyond the stated specifications and features. Read on to determine which of these two smartphones is better for you.

Design & Display

The construction of them is the primary point of interest at this time. They are structurally identical, and in terms of size and weight, they’re almost identical. Compared to the realme 10 Pro+, the Reno 8T 5G is slimmer and lightweight.

The volume knobs and power buttons for the realme are on the right side of the device, while the controls for the Reno 8T 5G are on the left. Both phones’ card trays can find on the underside. Both support two SIM cards but lack a separate mini SD card slot. Contrarily to realme, OPPO allows for capacity expansion up to 1TB.

Given the open-ended nature of design, we’ll go with what we consider the best option. We prefer the realme 10 Pro+. Oppo has a glitzy appearance, but we favor a more understated style. Both devices have a high-end build and are attractive due to their smooth texture and shiny appearance. Flipping them over, you’ll find the same curved-edged Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz frame rate. In contrast to Reno 8T’s Asahi Glass AGC display security, realme provides HDR10+ support for its displays. The two gadgets have good viewing perspectives, and the hues on the screen are also very vivid and clear. The tone of Oppo is a little on the mellow side.

Regarding photography, Both devices have a 108-megapixel primary shooter but with different backup lenses. The difference between these two is the Reno 8T has a 2MP for microscope and macro lens while the realme 10 Pro+ 5G has an 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Both devices’ main cameras, at 108 megapixels, produce stunning photos. Images show that the realme 10 pro plus’s focus was overexposed, while the reno 8T’s output is well-balanced, but the details are more apparent on the realme 10 pro plus.

Night Mode

Both devices have decent low-light capabilities for taking pictures. Despite the dim conditions, they make the area much brighter. In contrast to the reno 8T, realme can produce higher color and resolution results. While neither device is perfect, realme does provide more clarity than the reno 8t in some shots.

Selfie Camera

Regarding their front-facing camera, the realme 10 Pro plus’s 16-megapixel selfies produce natural skin tones but slightly overexposed highlights. Conversely, Reno 8T has a natural skin tone like real people but with more even accents.

Video Recording

The realme has more options for capturing video than Reno 8T 5G because it can capture in resolutions up to 4K @ 30fps. While the Reno 8T doesn’t support OIS, the realme 10 Pro+ can achieve 60 frames per second at 1080p.

Specs & Gaming Performance

We can now proceed with our investigation of their inner workings. While a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip provides the realme 10 Pro Plus, the Reno 8T 5G uses a 5G Snapdragon 695 processor. The Snapdragon 695 5G outperforms the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G on paper scores and is more power efficient. The realme UI 4.0 found on the realme 10 Pro+ and the ColorOS 13 located on the Reno 8T are the two distinguishing features of these devices operating on Android 13.

Both devices provide good gaming experiences with reduced latency. For action role-playing games like Genshin Impact, keeping the framerate constant at 60 FPS is feasible.

Battery & Charging

Comparing their batteries, realme’s is more significant at 5000mAh while Oppo’s is only 4800mAh. A 67W rapid charger includes both units. It took about 43 minutes to charge the Realme 10 Pro Plus, while the Oppo required about 47 minutes. Even though the battery size is smaller, it still needs a few extra minutes compared to the 10 Pro Plus.

Choosing the best mid-range smartphone requires extensive study to prove its worth. One of these devices has a few characteristics that the other does not, but the distance between them is relatively small. They have nearly identical video resolution, display, battery life, and charging times. The realme 10 Pro is the best gadget available and comes highly recommended.

Despite the absence of display protection, it has a bonus function. The camera’s output is of high quality. The OPPO’s 2MP microscope sensor is undoubtedly one of a kind, but I can’t imagine how the average consumer would put it to use.

Price & Availability

Regarding pricing, the OPPO Reno 8T 5G comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for PHP 23,999, while the Realme 10 Pro plus, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs PHP 24,999.
