Huawei

Huawei had a pretty good run on CES 2016. Mainly because this is where they fully introduced the Mate 8 as a whole, which was a handset that many of us have seen through leaks and rumours. Another breakthrough, courtesy of Huawei is their introduction of the golden Huawei Nexus 6P, which is primarily focused on the American market. They also showed off the Honor 5X and Mediapad M2 10-inch tablet, which is packed with a quad-core CPU, a true innovator of its kind. Huawei truly delivered on this year’s CES, however, we might expect more from the company on the following months of 2016.

Samsung

Samsung was also one of the major contenders in this year’s CES, though not on the smartphone category. The Samsung team delivered a few upcoming offerings in the tablet category and Notebook category, such as the Galaxy TabPro S, a few Notebook 9 variants as well. The highlight for Samsung is their introduction to their upcoming new Chromebook, none other than the Chromebook 3, which features a whopping 11-hour battery life at full charge. Samsung also claims that the Chromebook 3 is very durable and sturdy and can withstand  falls and slips, which is a pretty convincing feature. Samsung was one of the headliners of CES 2016 for a reason and that reason is pretty obvious, they were able to dish out impactful devices through the event. We’re looking forward to the Galaxy S7’s upcoming, though.

Lenovo

Lenovo had a lot of varieties to offer for CES 2016, from their ThinkPad X1 lineup to the Vibe S1 Lite and even the introduction of the K4 Note as a whole. However, these particular revelations also helped the company to establish a pretty good show in CES. They started things off with their Thinkpad X1 lineup, with the introduction of the ThinkPad X1 Yoga and ThinkPad X1 modular tablet, which both offered great capabilities on the business-savvy, primarily the module capabilities of the ThinkPad X1, which had 3 modes or features that adapt to the user’s current needs. Another introduction is the relatively new alteration to the Vibe S1, the Vibe S1 Lite. Despite being a downgraded version of some sort, the Vibe S1 Lite does hold a better battery capacity over the original variant which is a bit weird. Nevertheless, the surprises that Lenovo held was undoubtedly something to be noticed about and it pretty much helped them in CES 2016.

Alcatel

Alcatel isn’t necessary a brand that is expected to be shined on CES 2016, however, one particular device in their sleeves caught everyone by surprise and that product is the OneTouch Pixi 3. The smartphone/tablet 8-incher is really something that was uniquely designed. It is marketed as a tablet, however, it heavily looks like a phablet or smartphone and adding more to the confusion is its Windows 10 Mobile OS, which is a pretty rad thing to do. Alcatel also revealed a few more handsets and gadgets like the Fierce XL and a bunch of entry-level smartphones, however, we can safely say that their highlight of the day came from the introduction of the Pixi 3.

LG

LG wouldn’t have made it on this list without the a particular introduction that they had in their sleeve, an introduction to a whole new handset series, dubbed the K-series. With that in mind, the also fully introduced to the world the two handsets that will frontline the new lineup, the LG K7, and K10. Adding to the introduction of this new lineup and handsets, LG also introduced Vivo 5 and XL, which weirdly enough, both boast a 5.5-inch screen. This unexpected reveals brought the crowd to LG’s side and from then on took the life of its own. LG surely won the hearts of many and you’ll bet we’ll keep our eyes peeled on their new K-series lineup.
