New leaks concerning Xiaomi’s upcoming handset, the Mi 5 has been seen through a Weibo account. The Mi 5 has been targeted with many rumours and leaks recently and has showcased a lot of excellent specs through the said leaks.

From the live image taken, we can clearly see the black Mi 5 variant’s front panel as clear as day and could be one of the closest ways we can get with the Mi 5 before its launching date. The Mi 5 is said to be unveiled on January 21st, with the handset expected to hit the market on February 8th.

Already known specs of the Mi 5 include Qualcomm’s top-dog Snapdragon 820 SoC, 5.2-inch QHD display, 4GB of RAM, a 16MP/13MP camera pair and finally a 3600mAh battery capacity, backed up by Quick Charge 3.0 thanks to the Snapdragon chip.
