Alas, Realme X50 Pro Player Edition (PE) goes official in China and carries a price tag of CNY 2999(~P21,300) for the 6GB/128GB base model. The 8GB RAM is priced at CNY 3299(~P23,400) while the top model with 12GB RAM costs CNY 3599(~P25,600)/ Prices are before taxes and duties. For a gaming phone, we’re surprised to see one storage model which is the UFS 3.1-based 128GB. Nevertheless, it’s still a Snapdragon 865 device with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch rate for a smooth gaming experience. Realme X50 Pro PE will be available starting June 1st in China, with no details regarding global release.
Realme X50 Pro PE is nearly similar to its more expensive sibling which is the Realme X50 Pro. However, the 64MP quad-cameras has been changed to 48MP quad-cameras featuring Sony IMX586 sensor. While you might consider that as a downgrade, the built-in cooling solution isn’t. Realme is still using its vapor chamber system alongside a multilayer solid graphite cooling solution that lets games run longer without thermal throttling. What’s more, is the custom 4D vibration motor to improve the tactility of games. But for a gaming phone, Realme X50 Pro PE has a unique looking design that shines in black and silver colors. From the images alone, we’re already liking it. It managed to stay classy while being striking at the same time.
