It’s the time of the year when we round up the top five smartphones for each segment.
This time, we’re focusing on the midrange smartphone market. The devices listed are not ranked in any particular order, and all prices mentioned are official launch SRPs.
Below are five of the most compelling midrange smartphone choices launched in the Philippines in 2025.
The REDMI Note 14 Pro+ 5G is our first device on the list. It features a 6.67-inch WFHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.
The camera system is led by a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, and a 5110mAh battery supports 120W wired charging. It also carries an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.

It has one of the brightest and most feature-rich displays on our list, not to mention its charging capability and a high-megapixel main camera with OIS.
Just keep in mind that there is no expandable storage option, and secondary cameras are fairly basic compared with the main sensor.

The POCO X7 Pro takes a spot on our list thanks to its Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. It sports a 6.67-inch WFHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and very high peak brightness.
The device offers a 50MP main camera with OIS and features a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. IP68 dust and water resistance is also supported.

Among these five phones, it offers the strongest performance for the price and the largest battery capacity.
Though the camera setup might lack a telephoto lens, and imaging versatility is not as strong as some competitors, but the Dimensity 8400 Ultra delivers great performance for gaming and multitasking, plus IP68 protection adds strong overall value.

Next, the HONOR 400 5G. It has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an advertised 5000 nits peak brightness. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset powers the phone.
Its camera setup includes a 200MP main sensor with OIS and a 50MP front camera capable of 4K video recording. A 6000mAh battery with 80W wired charging completes the package.

The device deserves a spot on this list due to its combination of a high-resolution front camera and a bright display. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t offer a dedicated telephoto camera, and its IP66 rating is slightly lower than the IP68 protection offered by some rivals.
Despite that, we can say that this device is good for social media content creators and selfie enthusiasts.

Next, the realme 14 Pro+ 5G. It boasts a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.

Apart from that, it also carries a 6000mAh battery with 80W wired charging, and its dual IP68/IP69 ratings add durability.
Its versatile triple-camera setup for everyday photography is commendable, as it offers a periscope telephoto camera for better zoom shots.
However, its price is at the higher end of the midrange segment, so if budget is your priority, you might want to consider the other options on our list. Speaking of the budget, see its price below.

It also packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 50W wired charging, and the signature Glyph Interface adds visual flair.
Although its charging speed is slower than several rivals and the lack of expandable storage may be limiting for some users, its unique design and clean, user-friendly software set it apart from more conventional midrange devices.
