It’s the time of the year when we round up the top five smartphones for each segment.

This time, we’re focusing on the midrange smartphone market. The devices listed are not ranked in any particular order, and all prices mentioned are official launch SRPs.

Below are five of the most compelling midrange smartphone choices launched in the Philippines in 2025.

REDMI Note 14 Pro+ 5G

The REDMI Note 14 Pro+ 5G is our first device on the list. It features a 6.67-inch WFHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.

The camera system is led by a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, and a 5110mAh battery supports 120W wired charging. It also carries an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.

It has one of the brightest and most feature-rich displays on our list, not to mention its charging capability and a high-megapixel main camera with OIS.

Just keep in mind that there is no expandable storage option, and secondary cameras are fairly basic compared with the main sensor.
