Eli Santos, PhilHealth’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, assured that general PhilHealth membership data remained unaffected.

Nelson De Vera, Senior Manager of PhilHealth’s Information Technology and Management Department, confirmed that critical data such as membership records, claims, contributions, and accreditation information were securely stored in a separate database untouched by the cyberattack.

PhilHealth reported a swift restoration of its website, member portal, and e-claims submissions by Monday morning. Santos emphasized ongoing efforts to bolster incident response plans and enhance cybersecurity measures to effectively prevent potential future threats.
