If Google Pixel 4 series was the most leaked phone in 2019, OnePlus 8 is definitely the most leaked phone in 2020. Since last year, OnePlus just can’t keep its upcoming phone a secret. The latest leak reveals new images of the device, showing the entire design, as well as the available colors.Â
According to Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de, OnePlus 8 will be available in Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and Interstellar Glow. The most interesting bit here is the latter, showing a Samsung Galaxy Note 10-like gradient on the back. However, it’s a bit subdued compared to the rainbow reflection of Note 10. Nevertheless, in the world wherein Huawei P40 and Samsung Galaxy S20 series have opted for a clean look, we feel like OnePlus 8 will be one of the most beautifully-crafted phones in 2020.
The rest of the report includes the specifications of OnePlus 8. The 6.55″ Fluid AMOLED display will support FHD+ and 90Hz refresh rate, along with a pinhole selfie camera instead of a pop-up or a notch. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while expansion support remains to be absent. Camera-wise, OnePlus 8 is said to sport three cameras, with the main camera being a 48MP Sony sensor. The rest of the two are 16MP ultrawide and 2MP depth lenses. As for the selfie camera, it’s the same 16MP that we’ve seen since OnePlus 3T (megapixel-wise). The latest OxygenOS is expected to bring new features and the 4300mAh battery will continue to support 30W warp charging.
