Apple recently announced that it is developing a tool to better control your privacy which will be arriving at its upcoming update. This will be known as App Tracking Transparency. Bloomberg now reports that Google is developing similar software. This will prevent cross-app tracking when it comes to Android devices. However, Google is still in the early discussion stages.

According to a spokesperson for Google that they are “always looking for ways to work with developers to raise the bar on privacy while enabling a healthy ad-supported app ecosystem.”

But on other sources had revealed that Mountain View is looking for a way to balance between privacy-conscious consumers and developers and advertisers’ financial needs.

We should also take note that Google earns about $100 billion a year, making it one of the wealthiest digital ad companies. Usually, a big chunk of its money goes to ads that would lure in Android users, and oftentimes, if a user would be searching a specific item on Chrome, the same item can be found in other apps that would be used.
