We’re wrapping up the year with a bang, as a few smartphone handsets got their way in the market with various advertising, marketing and PR attempts that promptly introduced the handsets in the most effective manner. Here are five of the most recent attempts to primarily introduce their handsets to a wider array of people.

iPhone 6S’ Ads introduces what’s new on the handset
The commonly seen ad of the iPhone 6S introduces the viewer in a few new things that the new alteration can do. Such as 3D Force touch, live moving images and whatnot. This advertisement to us was effective in a way that it fully introduces the new features of the said iconic handset and has made its way to being a very effective media of delivering the said message of “what’s new on the iPhone 6S?”.
Samsung Galaxy A8’s recent advertisement using Sam Milby as its sponsor
This attempt is a pretty decent approach by the almost unknown successor of the A-series, the Galaxy A8. The sponsorship and media exposure gave people the time to know the Galaxy A8 and were able to establish the device in the minds of media viewers and participants. A very simple approach pretty much led to the Galaxy A8’s decent entry to the PH market.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5’s frequent Ads on TV
Samsung was quite aware of media exposure as a very useful way of introducing a device though it was quite contrary on the Galaxy Note 5’s case. The Galaxy Note 5 was already in the PH market before the ads came up. The approach was merely more on helping the Note 5 in where it will place itself in the market. With that, though, its continuous exposure through television gave people the interest and somehow was positive.
Sony Xperia Z5 Trio’s Launching via Event
The Sony Xperia Z5 Trio event has been a pretty good amount of exposure to its handsets. The exposure that it delivered, thanks to the various gadget and tech bloggers and writers enable a very long brand exposure week for the device, with some bloggers continuing up the topic for almost a week. With that, though, this enabled Sony PH to properly introduce the product through the gadget bloggers and writers as a medium, which was a really good move.
LG V10’s Official Launching Event
A similar fashion happened on the LG V10’s event, with LG Philippines using the gadget and tech bloggers as a medium, which highlighted the V10’s market exposure and heightening possible product purchases. A PR move that was no doubt effective though that not obvious. This event launching enabled continuous exposure of the V10 throughout the week.
IMO, Iphone’s TV ads here in PH are always clever, while Samsung’s are more creative.
