We’ve recently had our time with SKK’s Chronos Cross and it did deliver a fairly decent overall performance. This Php 3K+ smartphone is no pushover, despite having a pretty decent price tag in hand. It’s a 6-incher qHD phone with 1GB of RAM, which could interest a lot of entry-level smartphone users. The SKK Chronos Cross is officially priced at Php 3,299.

Next in line is another SKK Chronos series family member, none other than the 5.5-incher Chronos Byte. Like the Chronos Cross, the Byte packs a pretty decent punch despite its price. It’s 1GB of RAM fits the usage capacity of entry-level users quite fairly, especially those who are only into light tasks, such as social media browsing and occasionally internet browsing, a good catch for the bill-weary indeed. The Chronos Byte is at Php 2,599.

Another SKK Chronos series member lands on the list and this one’s a bit different. The Chronos Ace is the most affordable among the three SKK Chronos devices, though it packs a pretty decent and up-to-date Android 6.0 Marshmallow under its belt. Camera specs are also upgraded on the Ace, which makes things a tad bit confusing. Nevertheless, the Chronos Ace fits in line more with the budget-weary, yet smartphone fan everyday PH smartphone buyer. The Chronos Ace is officially priced at Php 2,299.

This one, however, has recently found its way into PH shores. The Galaxy J1 Mini is the downgraded version of the original J1, which looks pretty decent for an entry-level smartphone. Sadly, it only has 768MB of RAM, which might limit some users, however, it should be enough for light web and youtube browsing. The Galaxy J1 Mini has a Php 3,690 official price tag from Samsung.

One of the older brands that reached the list is Cherry Mobile‘s top-notch Flare S4 Plus. I’m sure you guys are aware of this little product, thanks to the intense marketing practices done on this device, however, it seems that all those publicity are put to good use since the device itself is quite capable. It has 3GB of RAM and runs on a MediaTek MT6753 chip. It has a pretty decent 2800mAh battery and sports a very satisfactorily 16MP/8MP camera pairing. You should know about the My28 and all of its glory. Considered to be one of the most affordable smartphones to date, the My28 has been offered up by Smart Communications, as part of their Smart 888 promo. Smart sold these off for Php 888 and the majority garnered on it, quite a bit too much, I think. Currently, Smart is sold out of the offering, though the My28 can still be purchased via other mediums, with a bit heftier price tag.
