Huawei Mate 60 Pro Excluded from Global Launch

Huawei Mate 60 Pro

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro came out quietly in China yesterday, and the Huawei Mate 60 came out today. In fact, the company’s new top-of-the-line smartphone is already on sale.

This gadget is interesting because it runs on a new Kirin chip. Also, it is the first smartphone ever made for consumers that can make satellite calls.

But we have bad news for people who have liked Huawei for a long time and live outside of mainland China.

Huawei announced that it has no plans to bring the Huawei Mate 60 Pro to countries around the world. Even though the company hasn’t said anything yet about the vanilla plan, it might end up the same way.

Even though the previous Mate phones didn’t have GMS (Google Mobile Services) or 5G, Huawei put them on sale in a few countries around the world. But the new models won’t be like that.

The chip inside these phones could be why you can’t buy them anywhere else but in mainland China. A new Kirin 9000s SoC is inside. We don’t know much about it, other than that it can connect to 5G networks.

Huawei phones can now connect to 5G for the first time in years thanks to the new Kirin chip. It is a known fact that Huawei can’t use 5G technology that involves the US. The new Kirin mobile base, on the other hand, is said to be made in China.

We’re waiting for more details about this new chip. So far, benchmarks results show it is only as strong as the Snapdragon 888, which is almost 3 years old.
