HP has introduced two new laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite chips, the OmniBook X! Let’s see what it offers.
The OmniBook X offers 512GB or 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage with 16GB/32GB LPDDR5X 8448MHz memory.
Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 chipset, it can reach up to 3.4GHz, with faster variants available (X1E-80-100 and X1E-84-100). It’s known for being more power-efficient than Intel and AMD.
Opening the laptop reveals a 14″ 2.2K IPS touchscreen, reaching 300 nits brightness and certified for low blue light emission, boasting an 87.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Equipped with a 5MP webcam, full-size backlit keyboard, Mic mute key, and camera privacy shutter for security.
It holds a 59Whr battery, charging up to 50% in 30 minutes with the USB Type-C power adapter provided.Ports include 1 x USB Type-A (10Gbps), 3.5mm jack, 1 x USB Type-C (10Gbps, supports USB PD, DisplayPort 1.4a), and 1 x USB Type-C (40Gbps).
For wireless connectivity, options include WiFi 6E/7 and Bluetooth 5.3/5.4 depending on the version.
Options for 16GB RAM:
The HP OmniBook X with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at $1,149 (around PHP66,899) while the same configuration but with 4×4 SSD has an additional $30 so that is a total of $1,179 (or PHP68,599).
The 16GB + 1TB costs $1,249 (around PHP72,699) if you opt for a 4×4 SSD the HP OmniBook X will have a total of $1,279 (approx. PHP74,399).
Options for 32GB RAM:
Want a bigger RAM? The 32GB + 512GB variant costs $1,299 (PHP75,459); $1,329 (PHP77,299) for the 4×4 SSD. If you want the 32GB + 1TB which is the biggest storage available you can get it for $1,399 (PHP81,399), 4×4 SSD is also available for $1,429 (PHP83,109).
