We’ve seen curved display technology since the release of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge back in 2014 following their flagship phone the Galaxy S7 Edge. Samsung has this technology until now, but with a lesser radius on Galaxy 20 Ultra than all S-Series. They started to reduce the radius of the curved display since the release of the Galaxy S10 Series. While Samsung is reducing the radius of their curved displays, other smartphone brands are working the other way around. They are producing Waterfall Displays, a curved display with a large curvature radius that you cannot see any side bezels. Samsung realized that it is not good user experience, by unwantedly touching the sides, you’re making the touch less responsive. But the trend is popular so here are the Top 5 cheap curved displays in 2020.

1. ZTE Nubia Z20 (P22,640)

This phone is impressive, with a dual-screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5 in front and back. The front is a 6.42″ full-screen curved AMOLED display while the back is a 5.1inch AMOLED display. Unlike other phones that have a pop-up motorize camera for the front selfie shooter to make it a fullscreen display, ZTE Nubia Z20’s back camera can shoot selfies by switching to the back screen. Then you can use the 48MP main and the 16MP ultra-wide lens as a selfie shot. This makes the phone a full-screen display in a unique way. With these high specs, it is also the cheapest curved display I’ve seen. It also has a dual fingerprint scanner both sides making it more versatile.
