Aside from that, this device is pretty sleek too having a 7.69mm Ultra Slim form factor and weighs 188 grams which is a tad lighter and slicker than its siblings. This device also comes in 2 colorways such as Twilight Purple and Woodland Green which I think are pretty chic.
Beauty Inside
Its outside appearance is not just beaut but so is its performance, matching its exterior aesthetics this device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip with ARM Mali-G57 GPU which is responsible for delivering captivating graphics on your phone’s display, as well as elevating your gaming experience with its responsiveness and smooth navigation.
Apart from that, this device also boasts a 6.72” display size with an FHD+ Resolution of 2400×1080. Meaning, the details on the screen look sharp and vibrant. Since this device has a 91.4% screen-to-body ratio, expect minimal bezels and maximized visual space as the display extends nearly edge to edge.
Furthermore, the realme 12 5G is equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate. This feature enhances the fluidity and responsiveness of on-screen animations and transitions, resulting in a smoother and seamless user experience. May it be scrolling your social media feeds, web browsing, or even playing games.
Now, for individuals like myself who spend a considerable amount of time outdoors and rely on their phones for various tasks, the realme 12 5G ensures seamless functionality even under direct sunlight. This device has a brightness capability of up to 950 nits that guarantees clear and legible screen visibility.
Capturing Moments
Apart from a phone’s aesthetics and processing power, we have to admit that most of the time, a phone’s cameras significantly influence our decision-making process when selecting a new smartphone.
A good example is the realme 12 5G. Its rear camera is equipped with 108MP 3x Zoom Portrait (which is similar to the realme 12 Pro+) and a 2MP black and white sensor. So, taking stunning and clear photographs without breaking the bank won’t be a problem at all.
This device empowers you to unleash your creativity and become a “Portrait Master,” as their slogan suggests. Whether you’re capturing candid moments with friends, picturesque landscapes, or artistic portraits, the realme 12 5G ensures that you can achieve professional-quality results without compromising on cost.
When it comes to its front-facing camera, the realme 12 5G boasts an 8MP camera. Details are sharp and crisp, and what I like about most is it gives a true-to-life skin tone. However, I noticed that this device is quite having trouble in terms of subject to background separation.
Power Generator
This device has a 5,000mAh battery, so doing your day-to-day tasks like social media browsing, a little bit of gaming, and watching your favorite movies without the thought of running out of power too quickly is not something you should worry about. As a matter of fact, on our standard video loop test wherein the brightness and volume are at 50%, the device lasted for 1 hour and 45 minutes which is a good number.
The Verdict
So overall, the realme 12 5G is indeed a balance of power of beauty. At a practical price of Php 14,999. This device proves that it’s not just about having a good performance or a chic design individually but about achieving harmony between these elements to provide a satisfying user experience., making it an attractive option for consumers seeking a balanced smartphone.

HUAWEI is preparing to unveil its first tri-fold smartphone, the Mate XT Ultimate Design, on September 10 in China.
The Mate XT Ultimate Design features a foldable design. When unfolded, it reveals a 10-inch screen, thanks to its dual-hinge mechanism. When folded, the device transforms into a standard smartphone with a thickness of under 5mm.
When it comes to its design, it is a reminiscent of the Mate 60 RS, includes an octagonal camera module and a vegan leather back panel.
The phone will be offered in two memory options, 16GB of RAM with 512GB storage and 16GB of RAM with 1TB of internal storage. It is also rumored to come in two colors.

After the HONOR X9b and all of its durability tests you’ve probably seen on social media, HONOR has again released a new smartphone in the market, the HONOR X6b. Will this be another smartphone that you can drop? Let’s find out in our HONOR X6b review!
Design
The HONOR X6b bears some resemblance to the HONOR X8b’s back design, featuring a square camera module with an LED flash. However, this model has a glossy finish that is smooth and reflects light well. Weighing in at 192g, it feels comfortable and well-balanced in hand.
The HONOR X6b is available in three colors: Starry Purple, Midnight Black, and Forest Green, which is the color we have here for this review.
The device’s frame includes the power and volume buttons on the right side, a microphone and speaker grille on top, the SIM card tray on the left side, and a USB-C port on the bottom.
Display
Switching to the front, the HONOR X6b has a 6.56-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 and a standard 90Hz refresh rate. It can also reach up to 780 nits of brightness, making it easy to use outdoors.
The device has a feature called Magic Capsule, which lets you quickly check call times, voice recordings, and the clock.
It also has an Always On Display (AOD), so you can see the time without turning on the screen. This is great for those moments when you wake up in the middle of the night and want to check the time without getting blinded by a bright screen!
Camera
The HONOR X6b is equipped with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera housed in a water drop cutout.
In terms of camera performance, the 50MP rear camera captures accurate colors with decent sharpness and detail. It takes good photos, which I find satisfactory and suitable for social media posts. If you’re looking for a smartphone to enhance your feeds, this one offers a solid and reliable camera experience.
For its 5MP selfie camera, I was initially hesitant to use it because the images seemed a bit blurred. However, after checking the gallery, I found the selfies to be quite decent! The beautification filter isn’t overdone and maintains a natural look, providing smooth results without too much effect.
Performance
Under the hood, the HONOR X6b is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The HONOR X6b runs on Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 UI out of the box. It comes with some pre-installed apps that you can easily uninstall.
In terms of performance, the device performed well overall, offering a smooth experience initially. But, when I ran multiple apps in the background, I noticed some lag and a bit of heating at the back. However, considering this is a budget-friendly device (we’ll reveal the price at the end), I wouldn’t see this as a major drawback.
Bechmark Results
Battery Life
The HONOR X6b packs a 5200mAh battery and supports 35W wired charging through a Type-C cable.
In our video loop test, the battery lasted around 15 hours and 37 minutes. For a casual user, it should easily last a day and a half on a single charge.
Charging from 0 to 100% took about 1 hour and 45 minutes with the 35W charger, which is quite satisfactory for a battery of this size. A charging time of under an hour is always a plus, right?
Price
The HONOR X6b is priced at PHP6,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. If you’re on a strict budget but still want a device that offers many of the features the HONOR X6b provides, this model is a solid choice.
While it may have some occasional lag, it remains a strong option for casual users. It offers good battery life, quick charging, and features like Magic Capsule and decent durability that might make it a worthwhile pick.

In a market overflowing with television options, Xiaomi presents its TV A and TV A Pro Series. But the question is, will it stand out from the crowd? We have the Xiaomi TV A Pro 43″ for review, so let’s see what makes this model worth your attention.
Design and Build
The Xiaomi TV A Pro 43″ boasts a sleek and modern design with a slim profile. The metal frame not only adds to its durability but also enhances its premium look. Thanks to its slim design, placing it in various locations shouldn’t be an issue—just ensure it’s securely positioned to avoid any potential accidents.
The unboxing and assembly process is relatively straightforward and can be managed by a single person. The TV comes with two stands, which, while functional, exhibit a slight wobble. If wall mounting is your preference, the TV supports a 200x100mm VESA mount, though the mounting hardware is not included.
Remote and Setup
The TV includes a Xiaomi remote, but it requires pairing before use, which can be a bit inconvenient compared to other remotes that work right out of the box.
Additionally, the remote does not come with batteries, so you’ll need to have some on hand. While this might add a few extra minutes to your setup, it’s a manageable detail.
Connectivity

For audio, the TV is equipped with two 8W speakers that support Dolby Audio, DTS-X, and DTS Virtual. This setup enhances the viewing experience by delivering immersive sound quality for your favorite shows and movies.
Performance
Under the hood, the Xiaomi TV A Pro 43″ features a Quad A55 CPU and Mali G52 MC1 GPU. It’s capable of handling typical smart TV functions like running apps and streaming content from platforms such as YouTube and Netflix.
During testing, we noticed some minor performance drops when switching between apps like Netflix and YouTube. This is likely due to the 2GB of RAM, which is adequate for basic use but may limit performance if you’re running multiple apps simultaneously. The TV also offers 8GB of storage, which is standard for smart TVs.
For connectivity, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Price
