Discord does not automatically recognize and use your Netflix streaming source (the browser or the app). You must add it to Discord as a game and keep it active anytime you wish to stream a movie or a TV show.

Scroll down to click on “Advanced.”
Toggle off the “Use hardware acceleration when available” setting in the System section. Then, to restart the browser, select “Relaunch.”
If you intend to use Microsoft Edge, launch it and select the three-dot menu symbol in the upper-right corner of the window.
Select “Settings.”
Then, from the left-hand navigation pane, pick “System.”
Toggle off the “Use hardware acceleration when available” setting in the right pane, then click “Restart” to implement the changes.
Launch Firefox and choose the three-bar menu icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
From the menu, click on “Options.”
Scroll down to the Performance section and uncheck the checkbox for “Use suggested performance settings.” This displays another checkbox for “Use hardware acceleration when available,” which should also be unchecked.
