Sony just recently introduced a new handset under the Xperia X lineup, which is none other than the mid-range, Sony Xperia XA Ultra, a possible successor to the dropped C-series veteran, the Xperia C5 Ultra. With that, we figured to pair up these two Sony handset generations in a quick specs comparison to see if there have been major changes since 2015’s C-series veteran’s reign.

The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is obviously a complete upgraded version of the C5 Ultra from exterior and interior outlooks, with the Xperia XA Ultra packing more 2016-ish line of specs, from the C5 Ultra’s older specs. Ironically, despite being an upgrade, the Xperia XA Ultra lacks the efficiency of having IP68 certification, which the original Xperia XA has and ironically, the C5 Ultra itself lacks the particular feature, making the XA Ultra a possible successor to the C-series mid-ranger.
