Samsung has had a solid appearance in MWC 2016 and is keeping up with the hype set in by their upcoming new S-series flagships, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. However, with the introduction of the flagship, Samsung is making a few things clear and points out a few things that they could expand and exploit in the near future. With that, let’s dive in and find out some of these, shall we?

360 videos or interactive 360 videos are one of the things that Samsung is looking to focus on this year. With the introduction of their Gear 360 cam, everyday individuals can now create their very own 360 videos. Normally 360 videos needed very sophisticated and large camera equipment to be shot though thanks to this technology, everyday average joes and Juans can shoot up their very own and carry them with convenience.
This proves that Samsung is looking at 360 videos as a place to expand upon and is looking to see what the future holds for these interactive form of video.
With the introduction of their BRITECELL sensor, Samsung is looking to lead the pack in low light shooting using a smartphone. Thanks to this technology, the Galaxy S7 is looking really impressive in night shooting and provides a rather impressively detailed output (base on their example output shown on their MWC 2016).
With this, though, they’re various ways that Samsung can go from here. They can expand the low-light shooting of Samsung handsets and eventually reach a point wherein they’ll be the leaders of smartphone night shooting. For now, though, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will lead the pack for Samsung’s upcoming low-light shooting smartphones.
Samsung is well-known for sticking to a particular design on their handset. They consider these designs as a trademark and like Apple, would often time won’t change much of it. From what we saw on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung is staying true to this particular trait.
On 2016, we felt like we won’t be seeing much change in terms of design though we can all look at it as Samsung staying true to its consistency and smartphone’s design.
Samsung has made the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge more interesting to me, when they announced that they’ll be equipping the latter with a Vulkan GPU, specifically used on gaming consoles. It just shaped a lot of opportunities for the smartphone to provide a great and console-worthy gaming experience that as someone who likes games, would appreciate.
This might even give way for game devs to go all-out in dishing out great games, specifically for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, which could even be paired up to consoles. A good way for Samsung to showcase the power of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
