MWC 2016 has had a lot of surprises and LG is in no doubt, one of the instigators. The LG G5 packed a lot of playful and interesting things that LG could maximize in the later parts of 2016, we all wonder whether this will be LG’s stand towards delivering unique and better devices this year. Let’s take a look at some of these interesting things LG might focus on this 2016.

The introduction of the modular type construction is one of the most interesting feats of the LG G5, however, nobody knew that it’ll be something more than just battery gimmick. The modular type build is looking rather interesting, in terms of how other LG devices could be incorporated using this. One particular example of the ability of the LG G5 to swap modules. A very peculiar yet unique take on the device, if we say so ourselves. Imagine the possibility of having devices conveniently attached to the LG G5, serving only as swappable modules and serves various functions.
There is indeed a wide variety of ways that this type of modular construction could give way for another handset that will possess swappable modules that have various functions, which LG could continuously improve in time.
We were watching the live stream of LG’s event and was dumbfounded when the “semi-BB8 drone” was introduced. LG seems to be looking at various ways to incorporate drone technology into their other devices, which is pretty smart. Drone technology itself is slowly being recognized everywhere and starting things off with a household monitor drone is quite a good take.
Slowly but surely, LG might introduce various more drones in the following years, which can hopefully make household work more genuinely easy.
Personally, I think, LG is kinda late to the party on this one since the VR thing has been around for a while now. Though I’m interested at what LG can deliver in the VR department. Right now, VR is mainly used for construction and entertainment purposes, but hopefully in the near future, LG could help in making VR devices a more everyday household easy-to-use item. Something futuristic like that is just above a very close horizon.
LG is looking to as well incorporate various add-on devices that will make camera shooting convenient and fun at the same time, as said in the introduction of their new LG 360 cam. This is great since the smartphone camera department isn’t really something that sounds entertaining to some people, not unless you’re into selfies. But nevertheless, dishing out convenience and fun on camera shooting is something that we’ll look forward to and hopefully, it doesn’t stop on LG 360 cam.
LG really delivered various interesting things in MWC 2016, so hopefully, we’ll see some more surprises courtesy of them and have a fun 2016.
