Today, realme used its space during MWC 2022 to announce a new technology related to the charging power of the brand’s devices. It tends to be one of the great highlights of the Asian smartphone giant for this year.
The manufacturer also announced the “UltraDart Charging Architecture (UDCA)” tool, a feature that will be responsible for allowing the 150W not to damage or overheat the battery while the phone is being charged, a technology that should balance the charging speed by preventing the temperature from exceeds 43°C.
According to the information, the Ultra Battery Protection feature implemented in the UDCA architecture prevents lithium from quickly losing its ability to retain energy, maintaining at least 80% of its capacity even after a thousand charge cycles.
The company strangely did not confirm what the recharge time is for the complete battery cycle, that is, starting from 0% and reaching 100%, but contrary to what you may have imagined, this interval will not be 10 minutes, that’s because at when half-charged, the device automatically reduces speed to save battery health.
Apparently, the 150W power with realme’s new UDCA architecture will be launched alongside the GT Neo 3, a premium mid-range device that has yet to have its release date revealed, but which should only be announced soon.
