We’re back with another gaming review, and today we’re putting the realme 16 Pro’s gaming performance to the test. Let’s begin!

First up, Mobile Legends. By default, the settings are mostly set to high, but we’ll bump them to the highest available option and see how it performs.
As expected, the game runs great on this device. It’s smooth, with no stutters or frame drops throughout the match. Even during team clashes, performance remains stable with no signs of slowdown.

FPS Results: consistent 59 to 60 FPS.
Temperature: 40.4°C (after 10 minutes)

Next up is League of Legends: Wild Rift. By default, it runs on quality settings at 30 FPS. We switched to custom settings and enabled 120 FPS to test it out.
Despite enabling it, the game did not go beyond 60 FPS. Still, gameplay was smooth and responsive, with no noticeable stutters. However, the device did feel slightly warmer compared to Mobile Legends.

FPS Results: consistent 60 FPS.
Temperature: 40.9°C (after 17 minutes)

Next is Call of Duty: Mobile. Default settings are set to very high graphics with max frame rate. We switched the frame rate to Ultra and tested it out.
Performance is excellent, with no visible stutters or frame drops throughout the match. The experience is smooth and responsive, with no heating concerns.

FPS Results: consistent 90 FPS.
Temperature: 38.0°C (after 12 minutes)

Fourth is Asphalt Legends. By default, it runs on a standard preset at 30 FPS. We increased it to the High preset with 60 FPS and tested it out.
The game runs smoothly with no frame drops or stutters, even in more demanding scenes. Visuals also remain stable with no noticeable texture issues.

FPS Results: around 55 to 60 FPS.
Temperature: 41.5°C (after 17 minutes)

Now for more graphically demanding titles. First is Neverness to Everness. We played it on the lowest settings with 60 FPS enabled.
Despite the reduced settings, we still encountered performance issues during combat. There were noticeable stutters and occasional rendering issues, especially when activating ultimate skills. For casual play, it’s still usable, but not ideal.

FPS Results: around 27 to 35 FPS.
Temperature: 42.5°C (after 8 minutes)

Next is Zenless Zone Zero. We also tested it on low settings with 60 FPS. Performance was below expectations.
There are frequent stutters and frame drops, especially during combat, which significantly affects the experience. For those planning to play ZZZ on this device, it is not recommended.

FPS Results: around 23 to 33 FPS.
Temperature: 41.9°C (after 10 minutes)

Lastly, we have Wuthering Waves. Using the same low settings with 60 FPS, the game performs even worse.
It is largely unplayable, with constant stutters and severe frame drops. Even at lower expectations, the performance is disappointing.

FPS Results: around 8 to 20 FPS.
Temperature: 41.7°C (after 5 minutes)
Overall, the realme 16 Pro is not the best choice for gaming if you’re planning to play graphically demanding titles. While it handles casual games very well, its performance in heavier games is underwhelming for its price point.
