OPPO has recently released its latest smartwatch at the MWC 2024 held in Barcelona, Spain – the OPPO Watch X. The wearable shares similarities to the recently unveiled OnePlus Watch 2.
For its specs, the wearable has a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 resolution,1,000 nits peak brightness, and an always-on display feature.
It is protected by Sapphire Crystal Glass, an integrated stainless steel case, and has MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability certification.
On top of that, it boasts an IP68 rating for water resistance up to 50 meters.
Powering the device is a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor which the brand claims will deliver improved battery efficiency. The chip is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Another feature is a dual-operating system, with Google WearOS 4 responsible for running complex tasks, while another real-time OS handles sensors and health tracking.
Moreover, the OPPO Watch X has sensors and tracking such as heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep and snoring risk, and over 100 sports modes.
For battery, it packs a 500mAh capacity that is claimed to last up to 100 hours in base smart mode, with a 48-hour life for heavy usage. Additionally, it can charge to full from 0% in an hour.
Pricing and Availability
The OPPO Watch X comes in Platinum Black and Mars Brown variants and is priced at MYR 1,399 (~PHP 16,517).
