The OPPO Find X3 Pro is packed with a Quad HD+ display, 120Hz refresh rate, 65W fast charging, 12GB of ram, and 256GB of storage, and the breath-taking design.
With most of us eyeing a powerful day-to-day device, OPPO Find X3 Pro equipped with a unique–Microscope lens–which is one of the bleeding-edge technology. But is it an added feature or there are some downgrades in its camera? Read along.

Design
The first thing that you are going to notice in buying a device is the design. The Find X30 Pro is really eye-catching. Its design is a head-turner and if you happened to encounter this device in physical stores, you will be attracted to feel the hands-on experience. Compared to the OPPO Find X2 Pro, it has a futuristic look and feel. The back has a new anti-glare frost matte material process, that even it has a Gorilla Glass 5 protection you will still feel the premium quality and smoothness. I can say that they did a pretty good job to perfectly eliminates fingerprint smudges even if it has a glass back.
Over the camera module, OPPO Find X3 Pro still has a camera bump, and the shape is quite similar to iPhone 12 but it has a slope design that feels seamless. Simply said, It is still a unique camera module.
Holding it feels very premium and sleek, the OPPO Find X3 Pro weighs 193 grams and it has an 8.3mm thickness which is an ideal smartphone build. We noticed that the weight of it gives a very compact and sturdy feel without sacrificing the overall look.
Display
Over the display, OPPO Find X3 Pro boasts a 6.7″ QHD+, 120HZ, LTPO AMOLED display. It also has HDR10+, 1B colors, and up to 1300nits of brightness. The glass looks curved but the screen is flat however it has thin bezels and a hole punch cutout making it looks premium. High-quality specs on the display are here but there’s quite a downside or a bit of a setback. Since the latest of tech can be found on flagship devices, OPPO Find X3 Pro kind of cheap out on their display protection. At least they could have gone for the Gorilla Glass Victus instead of Gorilla Glass 5.

However, the display is still amazing, the colors are great, the blacks are really deep, and the adaptive 120Hz refresh rate is a good finishing touch. Colors are so alive thanks to the full-path 10-bit Color Management System of OPPO resulting in a great entertaining visual experience. Brightness is also very visible outdoors and viewing angles don’t have drastic color shifts.
Camera
The OPPO Find X3 Pro has a unique camera setup, It has a 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor main cam and another 50MP for the Ultrawide camera. There’s also a 13MP Telephoto with up to 20x zoom and a 3MP Microscope lens with 60X magnification.
The main cam does output good and vibrant colors, with deep blacks. The HDR output livelier balanced photo, the blacks are lifted, colors still look true to life and it has more details.
Shooting at lowlight, colors are still visible, although the image looks soft. Taking photos with Night Mode on, we need to hold the device for around 3 to 5 seconds in order for it to capture a brighter image. The results are amusing, it is not blurry, it has sharp and detailed photos while still producing bright images despite the low light source.
Heading to its ultrawide lens, it is also equipped with the same 50MP sensor. The results are pretty much the same, It is sharp and has good details with vibrant colors.

The two 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor isn’t just the main highlight of its unique camera setup. The 3MP microlens might outshine the group. This sensor gives you details inside of details.
It has a 60X magnification with ring flash built around the lens. It gives light to the subject while taking a photo using microscope mode.
Shooting with a microlens, we have to put the device close enough to the subject to the point that it will really block any light source. It is so impressive that it can capture details of the leather, wood barks, and even the texture of a figurine. It offers great flexibility in macro photography and I can say that the OPPO Find x3 Pro is really a pocket microscope.
It also has a 13MP telephoto lens, with 5X optical zoom and 20X digital zoom. Qualities are great from 2X and 5X and in 20X it is quite acceptable. Colors are true to life and capturing in far subjects isn’t that shaky.
For the selfie camera, It has a 32MP selfie cam qualities are okay, daylight shots we get a detailed image, true to life skin tones. but in low light, we get a noisy image. We night mode on, photos are now lit up, colors are now visible, but images now look soft even with beautification turned off.
As for video recording, apparently, we can only shoot up to 4k@60fps, we don’t have the option to go higher than that. It also has an Ultra Steady Pro that is only available in 1080p@60fps.
The camera setup of the OPPO Find X3 Pro really does compete in the flagship market. It has good sensors for both the wide and ultrawide and an impressive microscope lens, plus a telephoto lens.

Performance
As for the performance and chipset. The OPPO Find X3 Pro is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 888 5G processor with a 5nm process. This is one of the powerful chipsets as of date. It has 12GB of ram, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage which is super fast and dated.
Without doing some gaming benchmarks I know that all of you know that flagship devices can pretty much, satisfy your gaming needs. The numbers on the benchmarks are very impressive and gaming and browsing is really entertaining on this device.
For the software, It runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.2. It is the latest ColorOS version that adds a rich privacy suite, a more convenient, customizable always-on display, and fingerprint quick launch for shortcut access to apps you need at your fingertips. The UI is more intuitive, it adds a seamless experience for me, flexibility, and more control on the device. Although you will notice that it’s kinda old fashion, but still they manage to make use of the 120hz display by polishing ColorOS.

Battery
Powering all the features of the Find X3 Pro is a 4500mAh battery. It is an upgrade on its predecessor that has a 4260mAh. Although it is kinda small for a flagship device since in the lower category, 5000mAh power battery is becoming the standard battery size. Still, It won’t be a problem since the 4500mah power battery is paired with a 65w fast charging, 30w wireless charging, and 10w reverse wireless charging.
Charging the battery from 0 to 100 percent took us around 30 minutes. So Let’s say that you are late for work and forgot to charge the phone, 15 minutes of spare time can surely keep you going at least a day of usage.
Verdict
Overall, the only problem that kind of impacts us a bit in our experience is the protection and the not-so-competitive 4500mAh battery. Although they did compensate the smaller battery with 65W fast charging, still, if it has the latest Gorilla Glass Victus it will surely assure the protection of its display and stunning design.
The Find X3 Pro offers 5G connectivity, astonishing display, a seamless and lightweight UI, a 65W fast charging, top-of-the-line chipset, and quad-cameras with dual 50MP lenses, telephoto, and a new 3MP microscope lens. It is really a head-turner, featured-packed and impressive flagship device of this 2nd quarter of the year 2021.
For the price, we don’t have words yet if it will be available in the Philippines but at €1,149, OPPO Find X3 Pro might have a price tag around Php66,600 (converted).
