News has already spread that LG is exiting the smartphone business. We also know that LG’s Rollable phone will not be seeing the day of light.
Now, a certification from NFC has surfaced teasing that the LM-R910N, which is the official designation for the rollable phone, was far along the development cycle. This is already enough for the company to at least file for various certifications for the phone to be in the market. The certification shows that this is dated January 5 and clearly shows that the Rollable Phone or LM-R910VM is on schedule.
There are no other details such as hardware for the phone other than it will use a BOE-developed flexible OLED display. This sure is unfortunate as we will never see nor experience LG was working pretty hard. Recently, leaked photos of the phone have surfaced along with the canceled LG V70.
