The public can check out a preview of the redesigned website, which is still in progress, and give comments at beta.nasa.gov. Jeff Seaton, NASA’s chief information officer, says the goal is to excite people with a top-notch, unified NASA website. Seaton says that the makeover will make the user experience much better by modernizing their main websites and making the information on them easier to find, find, and keep safe.

The updated web portals will be a central place where all of the agency’s information, such as mission reports, climate data, and Artemis program developments, can be found in one place that is always growing. With a shared search engine, integrated navigation, and better publishing tools, the new versions of nasa.gov and science.nasa.gov offer a more connected, topic-focused experience.

After the test site goes live, NASA will keep making changes based on what people say about it. The updated platform will also include material from other popular sites. This will make it easier for people to find information that used to be spread out across multiple sites.

NASA will start a new streaming platform called NASA+ to improve its digital footprint even more. The free, ad-free, family-friendly service will give people access to the agency’s live coverage and original video shows that have won Emmy Awards. Marc Etkind, Associate Administrator of NASA’s Office of Communications, said that the platform will “put space on demand and at your fingertips.”

NASA+ will be available through the NASA app on iOS and Android devices, streaming media players like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV, and the web. The goal of this integrated digital evolution is to make it easier for people all over the world to learn about NASA’s mission, discoveries, and innovations and to build better connections with them.
