Sony’s Xperia 1 V flagship phone has been slowly leaking information. Today’s leak revealed the phone’s back design. The leaked image shows the Sony Xperia 1 V changes from last year.
The Xperia 1 V lacks its predecessor’s ToF camera and RGB IR sensor. The protruding Xperia 1 V camera island contains three cameras, an LED flash, a microphone, and ZEISS branding.

Periscope zoom is the camera’s third lens. The leaked photo shows the worldwide Xperia 1 V’s NFC branding on the camera module’s right side, and the device’s back has Sony’s logo. According to a primary source, the smartphone may use LG Innotek’s “Optical Telephoto Zoom Module” for up to 9x zoom.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powers the Sony Xperia 1 V flagship phone and the slimmest SD8G2. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 tech trade show at the end of the month will be to launch new smartphones from smartphone brands, and MWC 2023 may release the Xperia 1 V.
Xperia 1 V will replace the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered Xperia 1 IV, which will release in May 2022.
