Design & Display

Motorola Moto G73 5G looks better than Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. Its primary rear side with a smaller camera module and an attractive color choice appeal. Despite the more prominent chin, the smaller display makes this phone smaller. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition is slimmer and IP53-certified for dust and water resistance. Even if the Motorola mid-ranger is water-repellent, you can obtain better build quality.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has the best display and sports a 6.67-inch 120 Hz FHD+ OLED display. Unfortunately, the Motorola Moto G73 5G features a 120 Hz-refreshed 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD. Both phones have a center-hole punch-hole display.

Camera & Speaker

The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition is the most excellent camera system, which features a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the device’s back. The Motorola Moto G73 5G features a less-than-impressive 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and the front-facing cameras on both phones are 16 megapixels.

Both handsets have high-quality audio thanks to dual speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

OS & Hardwares

Both devices ship with Android 13.0, but their user interfaces differ. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition is on top when comparing specs alone. To begin with, it sports a more advanced chipset in the form of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC fabricated using a 6 nm manufacturing process. Increased memory (up to 12 GB) and storage space (up to 256 GB) are two of its selling points. The Motorola Moto G73 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset manufactured using a 6 nm process, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage that is expandable using a micro SD card.

Battery & Charging

These two smartphones both feature batteries with a 5000 mAh capacity. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition sports an OLED screen, which consumes less power, so it should last longer between charges, and it charges faster with 67W fast charging.

Price & Availability

Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition retails for approximately $250 (around Php 13,543) for the lower-end memory configuration with 6 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. The Motorola Moto G73 5G’s 8/256 GB option retails for about $327 (Php 17,715). In this case, the Redmi Note 12 Pro is the victor.
