Starting on December 27, 2022, all Globe Prepaid, TM, Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi, Globe Mobile WiFi, and Globe Business prepaid customers can register their SIM cards at https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg. Customers can sign up through the New GlobeOne app by January. Globe and TM customers will still be able to use Globe services, and they have until April 26, 2023, to sign up to keep them from being turne off.

On the other hand, starting December 27, 2022, new SIM holders will have to buy SIMs that have been turne off. Customers who purchase new SIM cards from Globe or TM must register them immediately if they want to use Globe services.

Globe knows that some customers, like seniors, people with disabilities, and pregnant women, may need help registering their SIM cards. To fix this, the company, with support from the government, will set up assisted registration sites by February 2023 for people who need help, don’t have access to the internet, or are using basic phones.

The law is a big step forward in the fight against fraudsters. Who use the anonymity of SIM cards to do bad things.

It gives customers an extra layer of security and protection and increases Globe’s long-running efforts to stop fraud. These include investments in filtering systems. Proactive blocking of scam and spam SMS, and partnerships with banks and other financial institutions to share customer data.

Globe’s official channels will have more information about its SIM registration platform and process in the next few days.
