Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, just said he wants to step down as the site’s leader.
Musk said on his official Twitter account that he was leaving:
This happened after Musk had asked his followers in a poll if he should step down as the leader of Twitter. As of this writing, the poll has received 17,502,391 votes, with 57.5% voting “Yes” and 42.5% voting “No.”
I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.

Musk says he will step down as soon as he finds someone “foolish enough to take the job.” Musk says that once a new CEO is in place, he will only be in charge of the software and servers’ teams.
Musk’s time as CEO of Twitter has been full of significant changes and trouble. Under his leadership, the social media site started charging $8 a month for their verified badge and banned other social media sites from the site.
