To cater to the needs of visitors and foreign subscribers, Globe has now enabled 5G roaming services for travelers coming from Sri Lanka, Romania, Egypt, the Isle of Man, and Mexico who visit the Philippines.
Globe offers convenient options for its postpaid subscribers to access data roaming services. Through their GlobeOne app, subscribers can pre-register for data roaming promos for up to 30 days, including the cost-effective Roam Surf Longer Stay starting at PHP200 daily. Alternatively, they can turn on their mobile data and data roaming to enjoy the all-day data roaming service, Roam Surf 399, which automatically renews every 24 hours without promo registration.
For Globe Prepaid users, activating roaming services abroad is a seamless process. They must turn on their phones and switch to 2G/3G mode if they don’t have an active data promo upon arrival. Through GlobeOne or GCash, prepaid subscribers can easily subscribe to various Roam Surf promos, including the long-validity Roam Surf Longer Stay offers.
Globe has invested significantly in building a robust infrastructure over the past few years. With a strong foundation, they are now focusing on capital efficiency and optimization to enhance their services further.
