Xiaomi has introduced the Electric Scooter 6 Lite, the most affordable model in its new Electric Scooter 6 series for short-distance urban commuting.
The scooter is powered by a Hall-effect brushless motor rated at 300W with a 500W peak output. It has a top speed of 25 km/h and can handle slopes of up to 15%.

A 216 Wh ternary lithium battery provides a claimed range of up to 25km in Standard mode at 15km/h, or around 20km in Sport mode at maximum speed.
For ride comfort, the Electric Scooter 6 Lite features 25 mm dual-spring front suspension and 10-inch pneumatic tires.
Braking is handled by a front drum brake combined with a rear E-ABS system. Lighting includes a 2.5W front headlight with a 15-meter range and a rear brake light that flashes during braking.

There are three riding modes:
A handlebar-mounted display shows speed, riding mode, and battery level. Through the Xiaomi Home app, users can view range estimates, battery status, trip history, tire pressure, enable motor lock, and adjust energy recovery.
The frame is made from high-strength carbon structural steel and supports riders up to 100 kg. The scooter weighs 18.1 kg and is designed for riders between 140 cm and 200 cm tall, aged 16 to 50.

For added protection, it carries an IPX4 rating for the body and IPX6 for the battery.
Xiaomi has not yet announced pricing for the Electric Scooter 6 Lite. It is now listed on Xiaomi’s website in the Philippines. Stay tuned for more details.

Nice update, thanks for sharing. The Scooter 6 Lite looks like a solid “real commuting” option on paper, especially with the 300W motor (500W peak), 10-inch pneumatic tires, and the front suspension for rough city streets. I also like the front drum brake plus rear E-ABS combo for safer stops.
The only question for me is the battery size and real-world range. 25 km claimed in Standard mode sounds fine for short trips, but I’m curious what people will actually see at 25 km/h with a heavier rider. Any word yet on global pricing and availability, and whether it will replace the 4 Lite in most markets?
