Xiaomi 15 Ultra renders leaked, to launch globally on March

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its upcoming top-end smartphone—the Xiaomi 15 Ultra— in China, at the end of February. It will then go global probably at MWC 2025 in Barcelona on March 2, together with its Xiaomi 15 series siblings.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra with Two-tone design!

Ahead of the expected launch, leaks have already surfaced online revealing the phone’s design. Thanks to Android Headlines, we get to see the leaked official renders of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in its two-tone design.

The two-tone design is said to be inspired by Leica and the back panel will utilize both glass and vegan leather.

The leaked renders also reveal the new camera alignment inside the huge circular camera bump. The Leica branding can also be seen as well as the LED flash.

The bezels at the front is also barely noticeable, making it look like almost all screen. The punch-hole camera is at the top and the power and volume buttons are on the right side.

For specs, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It will pack a bigger 6,000mAh battery capacity with 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Camera-wise, it will boast a quad-rear setup consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-900 (1-inch) main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide shooter with AF, a 50MP Sony IMX858 3x telephoto lens with OIS, and a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom and OIS.

Other expected specs include Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 on top, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and 2nd generation Xiaomi Shield Glass for durability.

Speaking of camera, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was used to shoot the video of the upcoming SU7 Ultra performance sedan setting a new lap record at the Shanghai International Circuit.

Both the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and SU7 Ultra are expected to debut together in China on February 26, 2025. Xiaomi has yet to reveal additional information, so stay tuned for more updates.
